My name is Dev and I am a freelance graphic designer as well
as a recent graduate from IIT graduated Software Engineering.
While I diagnose that my schooling is unrelated to the
graphic design field, I have confidence in that many of the skills learned in
the program are very exchangeable. Software engineering challenged me to be
creative and innovative and very much enhanced my thinking and problem solving
skills. My design skills were improved in virtually every project; where in
many cases classmates would comment that my projects always looked the Sexiest.
This is because I understand the role that aesthetics and branding plays in
presentation & professionalism.
